The nice sunny weather Saturday, May
9, made it a great day for Washington Monroe’s annual school
carnival, which had a variety of fun activities for kids.

In the gym, there was a booth set up
where everyone could get tickets for the games. The carnival games
included Plinko, lucky duck, nerf gun target shoot, one on one
basketball, football toss, skeeball, bullseye and the inflatable
body bounce challenge. There were small prizes inside for those who
won the games.
Other activities included a bounce
house, inflatable slide, cake walk, tattoo art, face painting and a
photo booth. Each of these areas appeared to be popular draws.
For hungry and thirsty carnival goers,
there were food vendors like the Daily Wrap, Cheesed Out and Loo’s
Sugar Buzz. These vendors offered sandwiches, wraps, hotdogs, pulled
pork and cold drinks.
Many families were out enjoying food, fun and sun on a nice spring
weekend.
