Lincolnland Technical Education Center
(LTEC) is proud to recognize its March Student of the Month,
Danielle ‘Dani’ Dueringer, a Hartsburg-Emden student enrolled in the
Land of Lincoln CEO program. Dani is the daughter of Jill Dueringer
and Justin Dueringer. Her commitment to learning, strong work ethic,
and willingness to grow have made her a standout member of the
program.
Dani chose to participate in the Land of Lincoln CEO program because
she wanted to learn more about the business industry and explore
opportunities beyond a traditional college path. Throughout her
life, financial struggles have shaped many of her experiences, but
she has remained determined not to let those challenges determine
her future. Instead, she has used them as motivation to pursue new
opportunities and build a strong foundation for success.
After high school, Dani plans to attend Bradley University to pursue
a degree in English Education. In addition to her academic efforts,
she is actively involved in athletics, playing both softball and
volleyball.
One of the things Dani enjoys most about LTEC classes is their
hands-on learning approach. “I like how they focus on hands-on
learning. Personally, that is the best way I learn—through actually
doing the tasks until it becomes natural. I feel that LTEC helps
students learn real skills that they will use rather than forget in
about a week or two after the test,” she said.
Outside of school, she enjoys playing
video games and spending time with her kittens.

Her teacher, Lisa Kuhlman, nominated
her for the recognition, noting her dedication and growth throughout
the program. “Dani has demonstrated consistent attendance and
reliability, showing up prepared and ready for whatever tasks await
the class each day,” Kuhlman said. “Her classmates recognize her as
a resource due to her meticulous note-taking and attention to
detail. She has worked hard to move out of her comfort zone, asking
more questions and engaging with our business hosts and guest
speakers.”
As Student of the Month, Dani will receive a $50 award sponsored by
the Rotary Club of Lincoln. LTEC congratulates her on being named
the March Student of the Month, Dani Dueringer and looks forward to
seeing all she accomplishes in the future.
